Montana local elections
Every local desk.
Evidence first.
A source-bounded view of all 56 Montana counties and 127 Census incorporated-place records, the odd-year November calendar, and official Cascade County records - without turning partial authority coverage into a statewide claim.
Coverage ledger
The full denominator stays visible
All 56 counties and 127 Census incorporated-place records remain in the index: 52 cities, 73 towns, one active consolidated government, and one nonfunctioning consolidated-government balance. Census-designated places and special districts stay outside this denominator.

Election calendar
An odd-year municipal cycle
Montana's municipal general election falls on the first Tuesday after the first Monday in November of odd-numbered years. The completed 2025 dates are exact; November 2, 2027 is anticipated until the Secretary of State publishes the official 2027 calendar.
Update notebook
The next distributed audit starts with the calendar
Candidate collection opens only after Montana publishes the 2027 calendar and filing window. County result collection follows the November election; no stale 2025 filing list is presented as current.
Montana research notes
Authority coverage, votes, and outcomes stay separate
Cascade County supplies official vote totals without winner marks. Great Falls Resolution 10607 explicitly declares 37 candidates elected by acclamation. CivicBallot preserves that distinction and never substitutes vote rank for publisher evidence.

Official Census geography anchors the denominator. Montana Secretary of State administration and calendar records are paired with Cascade County and Great Falls documents; unaudited counties remain labeled gaps.
